Discovering The Luxury World of SLG’S – Small Leather Goods
Back in 2017, I had no idea what the abbreviation “SLG” meant. If you are like I was and have no idea, it means small leather goods. I shared a post in 2018 about my Chanel card holder and how in my spare time I paid for it, you can read that post here. At the time, I wasn’t sure if I would get used to a small card holder, compared to my larger traditional purse. However, fast forward to now and I wouldn’t swap my card holder for anything else! I love seeing my card holder every time I pull it out of my handbag. Since then, I have…

3 Contemporary Jewellery Brands for Gold Earrings and Unique Bracelets
I love discovering different jewellery brands – I get so bored with the usual run-of-the-mill jewellers we see in shopping malls everywhere. So, I want to introduce you to 3 contemporary jewellery brands for gold earrings and unique bracelets that have captured my attention. Earrings and bracelets are the two pieces of jewellery I really love. I rarely leave the house without a pair of earrings on. So when I find a new jewellery brand the first thing I do is check out their earrings and bracelet ranges. This post contains a paid partnership section with Responsival

Facial Sprays – Do We Really Need Them?
Today I am talking about facial sprays – also known as facial mists – and asking the questions: Do we really need them? Are they just a marketing skincare gimmick? It took me a long time to try these sprays as I thought they were just not a necessary part of skincare. However, I finally did try them and I haven’t stopped using them since. So, as you can guess, I personally love facial sprays. The two sprays I am currently using are Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater, and Linden Leaves Rose & Ylang Ylang Face and Body Mist, both of which I love. So, facial…

How And Why To Layer Serums
Back in 2018, I wrote a blog post called “Why Serums Should be a Skincare Staple”. Since then, my love for serums has grown even more so, and I am still very happy with the results I achieve from them. Last month I talked about the “I’m From” Rice Serum, and I briefly touched on serum layering, which is what I want to focus on with you today. Please bear in mind that I am not a skincare expert, these routines are simply what I have found work for me, and I like to share what I am loving in case it can help you too. So let’s see what…

I’m From Rice Serum Review
Last year I reviewed the “I’m From” Rice Toner, which I still absolutely love. Today, I am reviewing the “I’m From” Rice Serum – and spoiler alert, I absolutely love this product too! Serums have become a must-have in my skincare routine over the past five years or so. I even double-layer serums, which I didn’t know was even a thing until I joined Instagram and found a beautiful skincare community there (which has just been so lovely!). This is my second product from the “I’m From” rice line and it’s definitely not going to be my last! To get a background of the brand “I’m From” read here. Let’s…

I’m From Rice Toner Review
Toners have certainly evolved a lot from years ago, and are no longer the old astringent formula they used to be. They are more varied now, with gentle formulations. Recently, I have branched out and started trying different toners, rather than just reaching for my usual toner that I have been using for decades now – I am looking at you Johnsons Clean and Clear! While I didn’t have a problem with my old toner, I had been using it since I was a teenager (which is a very long time ago now) and my skincare needs have changed. So, it was time to go on the hunt for a…

Ole Henriksen Let’s Get Luminous Brightening Essentials Set Review
My love for skincare sets grows! I still feel there is no better way to try new skincare products out than a mini-size. It gives you the chance to experience it before investing in a full-size product. The Ole Henriksen Let’s Get Luminous Brightening Essentials Set has got to be the best skincare set I have tried to date. Having tried the Kate Somerville Hydration Warriors Kit and the Mario Badescu Kit, the Ole Henriksen set is my clear favourite. I love each of the products in this skincare set equally, which is such a bonus. I have become obsessed with Vitamin C in my skincare routine recently, so if…

Photowall Review: A Canvas Print
Talk about perfect timing! I had just finished painting my bedroom walls and was on the lookout for a new canvas print, when Photowall contacted me asking if I would be interested in a collaboration with them. After checking out their products, and loving what I saw, I jumped at the chance. This is what I love about blogging – I can review a product, then give you my thoughts on them to help you make up your mind about whether or not you want to invest your money. So, today’s item up for review is my lovely Peonies canvas print from Photowall – here are my thoughts!

Kate Somerville Hydration Warriors Kit Review
Following on from my last post (read here) about mini-sized skincare products, I thought I would review the Kate Somerville Hydration Warriors Kit. This kit is definitely much higher priced than the Mario Badescu Kit I previously reviewed. However, I still stand by kits in general, as I do believe minis are the best way to try out new products – particularly skincare items that are at a higher price point. This enables you to try before you invest your money into a full-size product that you may not like, or your skin may not agree with. So, on to the Kate Somerville Hydration Warriors Kit review. I will say…
