Too Faced Turns 20!

I can’t believe Too Faced have been around for 20 years (Happy Birthday Too Faced!).

I have only discovered Too Faced in the last few years, as until recently, their products weren’t available in Australia. I must admit though, I do not own any Too Faced makeup (that is definitely changing this Christmas!) but, I have been buying Too Faced for a few years now for my daughter (softoctobernight), and, from time to time, using hers!

I am very impressed with their makeup. Whenever I go into Mecca (similar to Sephora), Too Faced is my first pitstop.

About Too Faced

Too Faced describe themselves as “a serious makeup brand that knows how to have fun.” Yes, they really are!

Their products are so much fun – cute, youthful and adorable! Have you smelt their products?! Peach Blushes that smell, well, peachy, and Chocolate Eyeshadow Palettes that smell chocolatey!

I just love this brand. The packaging is just so fun-loving, and as a customer, I am definitely drawn in by their products and packaging.

The Co-Founders

Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson are the two co-founders of Too Faced, both with a background in cosmetic counters in department stores.

Jerrod and Jeremy wanted to bring some joy into cosmetics – well they certainly did that! And so, Too Faced was born in 1998.

The top-selling brand is now sold in more than 30 countries and is cruelty-free.

One of the things I love most about Too Faced are the names they give their products! From the iconic, Better Than Sex Mascara, to the Born This Way Foundation. Alongside this, the collections they have are gorgeous!

To celebrate Too Faced’s 20th Birthday, they have released a new eyeshadow palette called Now And Then – which of course smells like birthday cake!

The limited edition palette contains 10 original shades from 1998, with an additional 10 new shades from 2018. Too Faced Now And Then Eyeshadow Palette consists of pearl, matte and glitter shades.

I believe Mecca is the only official Too Faced stockist in Australia.

In the UK, Too Faced is available from Debenhams, Cult Beauty, Selfridges, and Asos. It is also available straight from the official Too Faced website.

In America, Too Faced is available in Macy’s, Ulta, Sephora and direct from the Too Faced official website, which also ships to Canada, Ireland and Mexico.
