Discovering Swarovski Crystal Bracelets

I thought I would share with you a possible gift idea for either yourself or someone special. I was fortunate to receive not one, but two Swarovski crystal bracelets this year. These bracelets are gorgeous and I am always complimented on them.

For Valentine’s day, I received the Crystaldust Double Bangle in grey from my husband, and for my birthday I received the Slake Pulse Bracelet in black from my friend (how lucky was I!). I adore both of these bracelets, they are both so beautiful.

I had always thought of Swarovski as only selling expensive crystal animal figurines – which are stunning, and I have been tempted by them over the years, so I was delighted to receive both of these bracelets from Swarovski. I have real trouble pronouncing the word Swarovski, I hope I am not the only one!

Who Are Swarovski?

Founded in 1895 by Daniel Swarovski, the name Swarovski has become synonymous with crystal. Producing the finest quality crystal at their traditional production plant in Watten, Austria, their swan logo is instantly recognisable as signifying the beauty and quality of the brand.

Daniel Swarovski worked at his Father’s small glass factory where he became skilled in the art of glass cutting. He went on to invent a machine that cut crystals more precisely than ever before. To this day, the exact recipe of quartz, sand, and mineral that Swarovski uses to make their high-quality crystal remains a company secret.

Despite being founded in the 19th century, It wasn’t until the 1980s that Swarovski opened their first boutique and the world became fascinated with their jewellery and crystal figurines. Now, Swarovski stores are all over the world, and the brand is at the forefront of luxury jewellery that doesn’t break the bank.

What Does Swarovski Make?

I was so surprised to see what Swarovski actually makes, aside from small crystal animal figurines – the list is quite long! From jewellery, including earrings, watches, necklaces, rings and of course bracelets, to home decor, including vases, wine glasses, photo frames, and crystal platters, just to name a few. Swarovski also makes their annual Christmas decoration – a staple for collectors every Christmas.

Crystaldust Double Bangle

The Crystaldust Double Bangle is the gorgeous bracelet I received from my husband for Valentine’s day this year – I was so lucky! This bangle comes in multiple colourways, and designs; the double spiral wrap (the one I have), the wider triple spiral wrap, and a single wrap. In addition to the wrap design, the end caps also have different styles, stainless steel, rose gold plated, or gold plated depending on what colour bangle you choose. They are crafted using Swarovski’s Rolled Crystal rock technique – they are simply stunning, and definitely worth checking out!

Slake Pulse Bracelet

Like the Crystaldust Bangle, the Slake Pulse Bracelet is a wrap-around style. It differs, however, in that it is closed by a press stud, making it very secure. It is encrusted with a mix of round and spiky cut crystal, crafted on Alcantara fabric, which is similar to suede. This is the bracelet I received from my friend for my birthday this year, I am so grateful!
