I’m From Rice Serum Review

Last year I reviewed the “I’m From” Rice Toner, which I still absolutely love. Today, I am reviewing the “I’m From” Rice Serum – and spoiler alert, I absolutely love this product too! Serums have become a must-have in my skincare routine over the past five years or so. I even double-layer serums, which I didn’t know was even a thing until I joined Instagram and found a beautiful skincare community there (which has just been so lovely!). This is my second product from the “I’m From” rice line and it’s definitely not going to be my last! To get a background of the brand “I’m From” read here. Let’s get on with the review!

I’m From Rice Serum

 

 

The “I’m From” Rice Serum is a brightening and hydrating serum which provides an instant glow and deep hydration.

Just like the rice toner, this serum contains 73% Rice germ fermented extract and is also rich in vitamin B and antioxidants, which helps to boost collagen production and improve elasticity to the skin.

It is milky white, with a gentle and thickish (not runny but not cream-like) texture, and one pump is all you need for your entire face. There is no fragrance.

I’m From is a cruelty-free brand. This product is also Vegan friendly.

My Thoughts

 

 

I instantly loved this rice toner, right from the very first application. I use it in the evening as part of my nightly skincare routine. This serum layers well with other serums too, I tend to use the Jumiso Super Soothing Cica & Aloe Vera serum first after cleansing and toning, followed by this rice serum. As I mentioned earlier, serum layering is a thing – of course, you don’t need to do that at all, but I feel I need all the help I can get in skincare!

Overall, I am extremely happy with this serum. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, soft and radiant.  It is a delight to apply and absorbs very nicely into my skin. I have had no irritations. This is my favourite serum to date.

I will definitely be repurchasing it in the future, or as I tend to do, asking for skincare for my birthday and Christmas presents! I am also looking forward to trying the remaining two rice products from this range, which include a cream and a facemask.
